Excel Civil Enforcement is firmly committed to working in an ethical manner at all times with all our stakeholders: debtors, clients, third parties, regulators and suppliers. In this section, you can read a summary of our key policies, as well as our approach to working with vulnerable debtors.
As a company, we regularly support company-wide initiatives, such as an ascent of Mount Snowdon by members of staff from Excel and High Court Enforcement Group in aid of Marie Curie UK raising almost £3,500, as well as many staff-led initiatives.
These have included London marathon runs by employees raising money for charity and a recent abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth by four brave team members and two courageous clients, raising funds for Guardian Angels, a charity supporting children who have lost a parent.
Ministry of Defence
We are the only enforcement agency which is a preferred training partner to the Ministry of Defence’s Careers Transition Partnership (CTP). We are a long-term partner and supporter of CTP to encourage social inclusion. We also frequently recruit ex-service personnel to become enforcement agents.
Informing and educating
We provide information for debtors to answer their questions about the enforcement process, how to minimise enforcement fees and where to go for support. We provide a number of ways for debtors to pay, to make this as easy as possible for them.
For our clients and local authority professionals generally, we send a monthly newsletter with information and guidance, we run regular webinars, usually with an expert guest speaker on a specific topic, and we provide a programme of training qualifications and quality mark workshops.
We are the only enforcement agency which is an approved (educational) assessment centre delivering regulated level 2 and level 3 qualifications and quality mark training. Our qualifications are endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). Our workshops are quality marked by Agored Cymru, a Qualification Wales regulated awarding body.
